Getting in shape at home is never an easy task. There are too many factors that can easily distract a person from his or her regular exercises. This is the reason why many are opting for gym memberships since this method help them concentrate on getting in shape. However, not everyone has the time to be in the gym and many of the workout machines at home can only be used for a specific part of the body.

The Complete Workout System

This is where P90X tries to excel – improve the body without taking up a lot of time. It’s actually a very challenging feat but the answer provided by P90X is very simple. You simply have to go through their 90-day exercise program with the accompanying food recommendation.

P90X is basically a workout program. It is not a machine and it will never recommend any expensive exercise equipment. The program comes in 13 DVDs which will guide you to muscle development in different parts of your body. All you need to do to succeed is play the DVD and follow what you see. Along with the program, the recommended nutrition will also help burn calories faster without accumulating too much fat.

Not a Walk in the Park

While other products talk on how you can achieve a great body without too much effort, many P90X reviews have noted this program is quite a challenge. In fact, most P90X reviews tell that the product is not for everyone. This product is offered for advanced users. For those who are just starting to develop muscles, its simpler product called P90 (or Power 90) is the recommended product. After going through P90, the P90X will further develop your body as the muscles will be further strengthened with more burned fats.

Muscle Confusion, Shake and Literature

The most impressive feature you’ll often notice in P90X reviews is the available literature and explanation on how your body develops. Aside from the DVD, the package comes with a book that will explain every exercise program. Among the terms you will be familiar with is “Muscle Confusion” which is basically a muscle development technique. Through this technique, your body rapidly burn more fats by introducing new exercises before the body reaches the peak. The package also comes with a good number of recipes and many of these recipes are for shakes. This type of preparation is specifically for easier ingestion and increased nutrition.

A good credit score is not just a number – it’s an indication on how well you have used your credit and this score will have a great effect in your life. Bad credit score will hinder some transactions and increase interest rates on some services you want to avail. This means you’ll have to pay more of some products and services. You might not even gain the services you want.

If you are already enjoying a good credit score: good for you. But that doesn’t mean you can slack off in your financial transactions. Any misstep in your payment will immediately reflect on your credit history. You need be conscious on your spending habits to maintain the good credit score. It’s also helpful to monitor your credit score. There are different websites where people can monitor their credit scores online in order to help maintain their good credit.

Smart Use of Credit

Among the biggest mistakes a consumer has that resulted to bad credit score is on how they use their credit. A credit limit of $5,000 doesn’t mean you have to reach that limit. Practice the 25% rule: never spend more than 25% beyond your credit limit. This means you don’t have to spend more than $1,250 or else it will have some drastic effects in your credit score.

If you think $1,250 is too small, ask your issuer to increase your credit limit. If you have $10,000 in credit limit, you should be able to use up t $2,500 without hurting your credit score.

Get a Major Credit Card

The type of credit card used in transactions will also have an effect on your credit score. It is highly recommended that you use at least one major credit card. This will be used to your advantage because they will show that you have enough qualifications for this type of credit card. Apply for a secured card if your initial application is denied. You’ll even enjoy some rewards because of the perks that come with use of credit card.

Take Care of Disputes Immediately

There will always be something wrong with your bills and payments. But that doesn’t mean you will have to let it escalate to collections just because some of the services didn’t come as expected. Pay the bills and complain about it in small claims court. More often than not, a good claim will result to a refund. Dragging the dispute to collections can be a major blow to your credit history. If you see something is wrong with any of your bills, take care of it as soon as possible.

Microsoft’s stock has experience some drop in the past few weeks. Although the company came out with some impressive developments such as Windows 7 and Office 2010, the software giant is still lagging. The stock even experienced a significant drop 3rd week of May and this year’s share has dropped to more than six percent. But it’s still Microsoft – the world’s largest software development company which means the company still has some firepower left to entice more users and foster growth.

Its latest project to lure users to Microsoft is the upcoming update on Hotmail. The software giant will revamp the look of Hotmail not only to make it more appealing to users but also to extend its functionality. The new Hotmail will feature the “Sweep” function wherein it can be asked to do various tasks to specific emails in just a few clicks. Users can also enjoy multi-media entertainment right in their inboxes as videos from YouTube can be viewed as part of the message.

While these updates sound interesting, there are two other updates that will surely make any aggressive email user take a second look at Hotmail. Users can now synchronize their Hotmail accounts to their Office Outlook. Because of this synchronization, Hotmail will sport a new interface that closely resembles Outlook. Another interesting feature coming to Hotmail is the document editing right in the user’s inbox.

For those concerned with security, Hotmail will also upgrade their spam protection. The “Safety Bar” will provide users detailed information about the sender, even to the point of telling the user that the message might have dangerous or fraudulent content. Combine this feature with the already mentioned ones; Hotmail will definitely push the envelope when it is finally released later this year.

These updates bring us back to the original question: Will new Hotmail look make MSFT stock hot again? If you’re looking for significant increase for the next few days or weeks (at least until the new version is released), then you’ll be disappointed. Hotmail maybe the most popular in the world but Yahoo still leads in the US market (Hotmail is No. 2) and the number of Google’s Gmail users are growing fast.

But if you consider Hotmail’s relevance to Microsoft’s stock improvement in longer terms, then you might be in good hands. Remember that the new Hotmail, once released, will be synching with Outlook which is the most popular email client today. Its integration with Office 2010 in terms of online document editing makes Hotmail even more attractive. Hotmail may not be the sole reason but will be one of the many reasons why Microsoft’s share will improve once again.

The BP spill that started when an oilrig operated by BP, Deepwater Horizon, sank on April 22. Since then, approximately 210,000 gallons of crude oil have spewed into the Gulf of Mexico causing dire consequences to the environment, marine life, and to the economy.

The Facts

1. Louisiana’s seafood industry, which is worth $3B per year, is currently non-operational.

2. BP stocks suffered an all-time low, with shares falling 22% less than 10 days after the accident.

3. BP has already lost $30B in market value since then.

4. BP spends roughly $6M a day to cover cost of cleanup, and the costs are rising as more advanced measures are being used.

5. BP is held liable for compensation as a result of economic losses but such liability is capped at $75M (as per Oil Pollution Act of 1990).

Without doubt, the accident is a huge tragedy and its effects already echo to as far as Europe and even the Arctic, with many predicting long-term impact on the environment. From the stock market perspective, BP continues to be punished for what happened, and in fact, as of May 21, shares went further down 4.2% (Bloomberg). Now the question investors might be asking is should they dump BP stocks? There is no simple answer to this, as there are always two sides to a coin.

Dump or Keep?

From one point of view many will think that investing or continuing to invest in BP stocks is an unethical thing to do, considering the harm that the oil spill has caused. But whilst this may be the case, oil companies are still some of the biggest players in the economy, and there will always be a need for oil in the energy market. Others fear that BP might never be able to recover from this catastrophe. But if you look closely, BP has $70B in assets plus around $21B in gross income last year. The estimated liability this energy giant is facing is at $8B. Do the math and you will see that BP is not going to be closing shop anytime soon. If you have BP stocks, do not dump.

The Good News

In fact, BP stocks went up 2.87% Thursday after the introduction of its “Top Kill” technology to stifle the oil spill. The spill may be a major hiccup for the company but it will recover. And although it is expected for stocks to go below 50, it should go up once the mess clears.

Under the New Reform Amendment, a move that was spearheaded by Senator Dick Durbin, the Federal Reserve can already cap “swipe fees” imposed by retail debit cards to “reasonable and proportional.” This amendment would only be applicable to large banks and will not include credit card transactions, as it is for debit card transactions only. Because of this proposed law, Visa Inc (V.N) and Mastercard Inc (MA.N) shares have dropped significantly since Tuesday.

When the amendment gets approved and becomes a law, the repercussions on Visa Inc and MasterCard Inc include:

1. They will have limited power to set prices.

2. The debit card interchange fees will be regulated.

3. Credit card issuers might need to raise other fees to offset losses.

4. It may pave the way for credit card interchange fees to be scrutinized as well.

5. And according to Joe Saunders, Visa’s CEO, it could significantly affect transaction volumes.

Visa shares dropped 7.3% at $69.25 in the NY Stock Exchange, whilst MasterCard shares fell 6% at $198.07. Since the announcement, Visa shares have declined a total of 18%, while MasterCard shares have dipped 13.6% as well.

Why is this happening?

Merchants are paying approximately $48 billion annually in interchange fees, or what is more popularly known as “swipe fees.” This is something that many retail establishments see as an unfair practice considering that consumers are being charged for debit transactions in their checking accounts. Since such transactions are debit, not credit, it should not be as high as it is. The amendment is good news for customers and establishments of course but this did not come as a welcome surprise to investors, which can be expected, apparently.

Visa and MasterCard Woes

According to Moshe Orenbuch, a Credit Suisse analyst, a 20% drop in these swipe fees could cause 2-4% drop in Visa and MasterCard revenues. And as Visa and MasterCard shares continue to drop, investors are slowly beginning to see the implications of the new law, although some of them do agree that such concerns are rather overrated.

Long Term Benefits

What most have failed to see is that there are benefits to this amendment and although such benefits have more to do with customers and retailers, this move does give consumers more buying capabilities what with better rates and discounts that retailers can already afford to give. This will undoubtedly entice people to use plastic more often, and in the long run, will be quite advantageous to credit card companies, Visa, MasterCard, and their investors due to increased buying opportunities.

Yahoo and Google are two familiar names not only in IT industry but also for investors. These publicly traded companies have been under the watchful eye of the experts in Wall Street as these search engines post profits. Of course, this means good news to investors as price per share grows.

But one name has been riding the waves of popularity and enjoys significant increase in the past few weeks. In the American soil, the name Baidu doesn’t necessarily ring any bell but in China, Baidu is the biggest rival of Google. In fact, Baidu is recently the bigger search engine company in China. Since China has the most number of online users, it’s safe to say that the company is positioned to post significant increase in profits in the coming months.

The reason for this impressive increase in Baidu is actually at the expense of Google. The Online giant recently pulled out its search engine business in China because the country will not yield to the Google’s demand on lifting online censorship. Naturally, users will go to the next best thing and in China, the next best thing is Baidu.

This doesn’t mean Google is going down the drains. It is just one country after all. Price per share for Google is still bullish and there are some experts predicting the $1,000 threshold. Baidu has seen an impressive increase in the past month and with the online situation in China, they are getting bigger and the investors’ interest is showing.

But never count out Yahoo yet simply because the comparison of Google and Baidu is leaving the Yahoo out of competition. Price per share is not going up in significant level but it’s still a steady option. The price per share has been going down a bit but as history would tell, the stocks would again be back on its track after a few days of low closes.

So which one should you choose? Here’s the point-by-point situation:

Baidu (BIDU) – the company’s significant growth in the past months is not just based on the hype. Some may say that it’s a momentary increase but you can’t argue with the current situation of China when it comes to search engines.

Google (GOOG) – even though Google has pulled out of China, the company is still going strong. After all, the company has other investments aside from gaining profit from search engines.

Yahoo (YHOO) – unfortunately, Yahoo has not been faring well in the past weeks. But don’t panic yet. The price per share did go down for Yahoo in the past and it’s still a survivor.

Introduction

It’s not that often that an MMA fighter will endorse a fitness product and it’s even less often that someone as fit as Randy Couture will go for it. Of course, that is because few people out there are as fit as the 5-time champion and therefore when he endorses a product people should definitely sit up and take notice. So we decided to do our own body by jake tower 200 reviews.

The Breakdown

Here’s how the Tower 200 System is supposed to work. Essentially, it is an apparatus that you can attach to the top of any standard door. The idea behind the toolkit included with the Tower 200 is that you should be able to replicate most of the exercises of a home gym using just the pre-built Tower 200 and one of the doors in your home. Not only are you supposed to be able to replicate most of the exercises, but you should also be able to replicate all of the important ones needed to work your entire body.

Pros

When the Tower 200 System makes the claim to work with any normal door, it is in fact making this claim accurately. You can actually take the pre-built tower out of the box it is shipped in, attach it to a door and be good to go within minutes. It is easily one of the easiest fitness-related tools to set up and remove once the workout is over.

Going through the entire workout routine with the Tower 200 System is also very easy to do. You can get through a good routine in 11 minutes and with a total of 200 different exercises available and 200 pounds of weight resistance also available, you really have no excuse to not do the workout when you are faced with this product. In fact, it is accurate to say that if you cannot get it done with this product as a beginner, you should re-examine your own initiative to get bigger, harder and stronger. That is how easy it is for someone to get started on their fitness goals with this particular product.

Cons

The main drawback to the Tower 200 System is the fact that it really doesn’t have anything on high-end strength training and gym systems. In essence, you get what you pay for. This tool will get you off to a great start in terms of all of these exercises, but the fact of the matter is that when you get to the advanced level you will need to go buy something else. That in no way precludes the effectiveness of the product, but it is worthwhile that you know its limitations before you decide to invest in it or pass.

Conclusion

Overall, the Tower 200 System is an impressive one that you can definitely use to get built and get in better shape. It also comes at a reasonable price and with an endorsement from one of the fittest men on the planet it is definitely a product you should seriously consider when making your next fitness-related purchase.
